Syndeo Staffing has an immediate temp-to-hire opening for a 12-Volt Assemblers at a local manufacturing company. This position entails the installation of many different electronic devices and the wiring to operate them. Your main responsibilities include installation and understanding of wiring harnesses, gauges, switches, relays, fuses, joysticks, etc.
The ideal candidate will have any of the following experience:
- Car audio installers, alarm systems, remote start systems.
- Building of wiring harnesses.
- Building of Control Panels on lawnmowers or any equipment.
- Trailer assembly.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Pay: $18 + DOE
Job Duties, Responsibilities, Knowledge, Skills, and Ability
- Read work orders and similar documentation to stage product for installation.
- Be open minded in providing new solutions and instruction in bettering our product.
- Understand mechanics such as wrenches, drills, sockets, screwdrivers, volt meters, ammeters, etc.
- Understanding the use of fasteners (metric and SAE)
- Diagnose, repair, and resolve installation related problems ranging from product failure or incompatibility to undesirable operational conditions such as heat, excess current draw, and intermittent faults.
- Facilitate a reliable and productive workflow from staff in the installation bay. Demonstrate installation procedures and correctly convey best practices to other technicians when required.
- Assist less experienced team members as needed to troubleshoot/repair installation issues.
- Visual processing ability. Cognitive and analytical thinking ability.
- Knowledge to read and apply OEM-style vehicle wiring schematics for diesel engines.
- Knowledge of circuits and triggers including low voltage, normally open, normally closed, rest at state, rest at open, etc.
Requirements
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Prefer 2 years' experience or more in 12-volt electronics installation. On the Job Training for our Specific Application is provided.
- Must be able to work overtime, including late nights and weekends.
- Must be able to work under time constraints and deadlines.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with others.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Must maintain a neat, professional, and well-groomed appearance.
- Must follow all Company work rules, policies, and regulations.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and transportation.
- Must be able to provide your own basic hand tools.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
