The Electronics Assembler is responsible for soldering electronic components, including both surface mount and through-hole devices, onto printed circuit boards for a range of sub-assemblies. Working under moderate supervision this role involves assembling a variety of electrical and mechanical products according to written procedures, technical drawings, and workmanship standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Solder electronic components (surface mount and through-hole) onto printed circuit boards.
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components as part of various products.
- Build small, complex assemblies and biomedical devices.
- Follow written procedures, drawings, and established standards to ensure quality and precision.
- Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electronics or assembly is a plus.
- Experience soldering electronic components and working with printed circuit boards.
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical assembly processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Basic understanding of pneumatic systems is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience assembling biomedical or precision devices.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and inspection processes.
