Position Overview:
The Electronics Assembler will assemble and troubleshoot electronic components of the company's product.
Position Responsibilities:
· Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, electronic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
· Utilize handheld tools such as an impact driver, drill and pop rivet guns.
· Performing soldering, wire termination, and wire crimping.
· Provide accurate soldering of circuit boards.
· Provide component replacement on circuit boards.
· Troubleshoot electronic components in electronic circuits.
· Assemble through hole and surface mount circuit boards.
· Operate solder flow equipment.
· Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
· Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
· Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
· Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
· Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Required Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant experience.
· Associate degree or Technical School with 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
· Minimum of 2 years of electronic assembly experience preferred.
· Basic reading skills with the ability to follow directions.
· Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.
· Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
· Strong thought and reasoning skills to solve problems.
· High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
· The ability to use hand tools in the correct manner to assume proper assembly of products.
· Good basic understanding of electronic circuitry and the ability to use volt meters and oscilloscope and testing tools to diagnose issues.
· Experience with soldering, splicing, and wire wrap.
· Experience in reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics.
