Construction Site Logistics Coordinator will be providing direction and coordination for power/electrical equipment for the building of Data centers, or other new facilities.
- Responsible for receiving new equipment at the site, making sure it arrives as expected, ensuring proper storage, processing any returns or warranty issues for faulty equipment or equipment damaged in transit.
- is to create value and establish the project order management process as a key differentiator from our competitors. This position is heavily involved in the electrical and mechanical details of major strategic project order and focuses on Heavy Commercial Construction, Data Center, Utility, and Industrial Projects.
- The primary functions include managing the technical aspects of major electrical assembly project orders by meeting customer specifications and timelines for products, documentations, and quality.
- Manage the program based upon defined Project scope, timeline, and "approved for Manufacture" drawings, attend daily client meetings to review open issues and upcoming items, make recommendations concerning equipment deliveries, installation, and on-site services. They would then provide intelligence/escalations back to the project team.
- Liaison with the client and Eaton Project Manager and manage the project team relationships.
- This is NOT a hands on technical/IT role. Coordinators are not allowed to hook up or work on the equipment. They are not building out data centers, working on routers, switches, or servers.
- Looking for construction-type backgrounds and have knowledge of construction and safety processes.
- Communications transparency is a top priority in verbal, written, and presentation format for the project coordinator.
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Undertaking project tasks as required.
Position Criteria
- Ability to apply project management methodologies and strategies to reduce potential project risk throughout the duration of the project lifecycle.
- Capable of planning and executing presentations on specific products and services to internal and external customers to gain recognition and customer acceptance.
- Knowledge of major competitors in the market and their alignment with distributors and major customers
- Knowledge on plant front-end scheduling, engineering, and manufacturing process and equipment cycle times
- Poses advanced computer skills in Advanced word processing, Spreadsheet, Vista, and Bid manager.
- Ability to present information to others in a persuasive way.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of an assignment and customer satisfaction.
- Consistent demonstration of planning, leading, and communication results from executive changes.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and situations to achieve superior proactive project order management and customer service.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree from an accredited institution is nice to have.
- Minimum 5 years of electrical industry experience preferred.
- Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
- Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications

- · 5+ years of electrical experience, Project Management, Project Coordination and or electrical material intake.
