Job Description
UNION ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SEEKS FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER / ACCOUNTING PERSON TO PROVIDE BOOKKEEPING DUTIES AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT FOR A SMALL FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- BOOKKEEPING DUTIES
- PREPARE INVOICES
- MANAGE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE AND RECEIVABLE
- MANAGE IN HOUSE PAYROLL
- COMPLETE UNION REPORTS
- ASSIST WITH PREPARATION OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS INCLUDING PROFIT AND LOSS AND BALANCE SHEETS
- GENERAL CLERICAL DUTIES
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- MUST HAVE 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNTING/BOOKKEEPING
- MUST BE PROFICIENT AT MS OFFICE,WORD, EXCEL AND OUTLOOK
- FAMILIAR WITH COMPUTER EASE ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE A PLUS
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE PREPARING PAYROLL
- 2 YEARS COLLEGE OR EQUIVALENT IN ACCOUNTING PREFERRED
- FAMILIAR WITH UNION AND CERTIFIED PAYROLL REPORTS
- MUST BE PROFICIENT IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND HAVE GOOD COMUNICATION SKILLS
- MUST BE WELL ORGANIZED, DETAIL ORIENTED AND BE ABLE TO MULTI TASK
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WELL UNDER PRESSURE AND WITHIN TIGHT DEADLINES
- MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORATION
- MUST BE FRIENDLY AND HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE
