    We are looking for a drafter who is organized, detail-oriented, efficient, and experienced in industrial automation electrical control systems to help us support our team and customers. Automation Solutions creates innovative custom machine control solutions. During the past 25+ years, we have provided industrial automation systems, machines, services and components to machine builders and end-users throughout the world. We occupy a unique niche as both a Factory Authorized Systems Integrator and an Authorized Distributor for many quality automation lines.

    Essential responsibilities:

    Create accurate, detailed electrical schematic and layouts drawings based on sketches and instructions provided by our engineering team.

    Ensure continuity of design and documentation by ensuring as-built changes are captured on both the drawings and BOMs.

    Be the librarian of our technical documentation and maintain the organization of it to support the rest of the teams.

    Provide excellent customer service while providing our customers with drawings and documentation.

    Be a positive team member while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.

    Industrial Automation Knowledge and Experience:

    Thorough familiarity with industrial control components and terminology.

    Fluent in ANSI Y32.2/IEEE and IEC electrical schematic symbols and layouts.

    Willing to embrace Automation Solutions drafting standards and practices.

    AS degree in drafting or equivalent experience.

    Proficiency in 2D AutoCad (DraftSight).

    Functional understanding of UL508A and NFPA79 standards.

    5+ Years of experience. (Flexible for the right candidate)
