We are sourcing for our partners team, we are looking for an electrical/controls engineer. This is a first shift, direct hire opportunity.
This full-time, on-site role it is not just a job; it's a chance to be part of a team that is shaping the future of automation in the machine build industry. This position covers all aspects of Electrical/Controls design engineering, including power management, code compliance, logic architecture, component selection, and integration with mechanical, robotic and software systems. You will work with the Engineering Manager and design team to complete designs and bring them to market.
Duties and responsibilities
- Design, modify, and support industrial equipment and processing systems.
- Engage with supplier representatives and customers to identify specifications, components, and systems, as necessary.
- Prepare drawings for component layout and machine wiring schematics.
- Develop, modify, and maintain code for PLC, HMI, and Robotic systems.
- Collaborate with project team to produce project documentation including instructions for service and repair manuals.
- Interface with personnel across the organization to ensure the accuracy of documentation.
- Provide technical assistance to manufacturing and field service personnel.
- Investigate system, equipment, or product failures.
- Evaluate performance of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or integrated systems or equipment.
- Identify new applications for existing and new technologies.
- Research industrial processes or operations.
- Coordinate safety or regulatory compliance activities.
- All other duties assigned.
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree, B.S.E.E., B.S.M.E.T. with 5 or more years of experience in automation design.
