What You'll Do:
- Design, program, and optimize custom machine control systems using Beckhoff TwinCAT.
- Write code to control Fanuc robots, handling complex tasks like path planning.
- Integrate and configure vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, etc.) to make our machines even smarter.
- Work with other engineers to create groundbreaking control system designs.
- Create and maintain top-notch documentation—think clear logic, user-friendly manuals, and well-structured programs.
- Solve problems and troubleshoot issues during assembly and testing.
- Help commission systems at client sites.
- Stay ahead of the curve by researching and implementing the latest automation technologies.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field (or equivalent experience).
- Hands-on experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT.
- Solid experience in Fanuc robot programming.
- Experience with vision systems like Cognex or Keyence.
- A strong understanding of industrial control systems and electrical systems.
- Expertise with Ethernet/IP and other industrial communication protocols.
- Ability to think critically, solve problems, and pay attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Allen-Bradley RSLogix Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View experience is a plus.
