    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems within a manufacturing environment, preferably with experience in fabric finishing. This role is responsible for managing a team of control technicians, overseeing projects, maintaining budgets, and ensuring that all electrical control systems operate efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Team Management: Supervise hourly control technicians, providing leadership and support to ensure high performance.

    • PLC experience: Understand and perform surface-level programming on PLCs, specifically Siemens and Allen Bradley systems.

    • Equipment Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with equipment and control systems to minimize downtime.

    • Project Oversight: Plan, schedule, and oversee electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

    • Budget Management: Monitor and control labor costs to keep them aligned with budgetary constraints.

    • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve electrical systems and processes within the manufacturing facility.

    • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of programming changes, maintenance activities, and project plans.


    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; or 5+ years of engineering services experience, preferably in fabric finishing.

      • Note: Candidates without a degree should have 3 to 5 years of electrical experience in a manufacturing facility.

    • Experience: 2+ years of electrical experience working in a manufacturing environment.

    • Technical Skills:

      • Proficiency with PLCs, including Siemens and Allen Bradley systems.

      • Ability to perform basic programming and troubleshoot control systems.

      • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with scheduling and project management software.
