    SUMMARY

    Detail electrical designs and put together Release Packages under the direction of an Electrical Engineer. Facilitates the completion of panel designs and implementation by performing the following duties:

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

    Detail equipment schematics as directed by Electrical Engineer(s)

    Control Panel building experience required

    Electrical schematics experience

    Make as-built changes after job is completed

    Strong understanding of electrical circuits and design

    Some knowledge of programming software

    Electrical troubleshooting experience

    Investigates and implements product improvements

    Occasional travel to customer sites as needed for field service or installation

    QUALIFICATIONS

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required..

    EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

    2-5 years of electrical circuits and design experience.

    One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Preferred experience in machine design.

    Highly developed electrical and mechanical skills.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Light to medium effort equal to frequent lifting or moving materials

    Regularly required to sit or stand, bend at the waist and reach knee to head height and overhead reaching

    Regularly required to kneel or crouch

    Use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things

    Quickly move hands, hand and arm coordination, or two hands to grasp, or manipulate objects

    Keep hand and arm steady while moving one arm or while holding one arm and hand in one position.

    Frequent exertion of muscle force repeatedly or continuously over time. This involves muscular endurance and resistance to muscle fatigue.

    May be required to work at elevated heights including on platforms and ladders above 4 feet.

    Day shift 8:00am -4:30pm

    Monday to Friday
