    Electrical Designer

    Champlin, MN | Direct Hire | $90k - $120k

    The Electrical Designer, under the direction of the Engineering Manager, will design one-line diagrams, schematics, and panel layouts for electrical power distribution equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of products. The role focuses on meeting quality standards, customer requirements, and project timelines.

    Electrical Designer Responsibilities:

    • Design one-line diagrams, schematics, and panel layouts for LV and MV switchgear, ensuring compliance with codes and customer specifications.
    • Utilize design tools such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan, or SolidWorks.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues.
    • Support product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and new products.
    • Ensure designs meet project schedules, budget, and quality standards.

    Electrical Designer Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of electrical design experience.
    • Preferred switchgear and panelboard designs.
    • Proficient in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan, or SolidWorks.
    • Ability to collaborate with teams and contribute to project quotes and product designs.
