Electrical Engineer \- Industrial Electro-Mechanical Machinery

We are a manufacturing company that designs and builds electro-mechanical equipment, including custom water treatment systems, packaging machinery, and food processing equipment—ranging from the size of a blender to as large as a house. Due to our growth, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to design and program electrical systems. This is a newly created position, open to mid-to-senior-level candidates.

Responsibilities

• Design and program electrical systems that meet project requirements and industry standards.

• Configure components and lay out control panels.

• Create schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical.

• Build and test prototypes, troubleshooting and improving electrical designs.

• Research and select components that meet specifications, quality, and cost requirements.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Mechanical Engineers, Software Engineers, and Production teams to integrate electrical systems into product designs.

• Document design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.

• Resolve electrical issues during production and post-production.

• Stay updated on the latest electrical engineering technologies and trends.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar tools.

• Strong understanding of electrical components and their applications.

• Experience in electrical design, product development, or a related field.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulations.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience. We are considering non-degreed candidates that have the years of experience, skills and desire.
