    Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and assembly. The candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end process of designing, assembling, and testing PCBs for various electronic systems. This position requires hands-on experience in both design and prototyping, ensuring high-quality and reliable PCBs that meet project specifications and industry standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    PCB Design:

    • Design and develop multi-layer PCBs based on electrical and mechanical requirements.

    • Create schematics, PCB layouts, and routing using industry-standard design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad, Eagle).

    • Select appropriate components, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define board specifications and ensure proper integration with mechanical designs.

    PCB Assembly:

    • Oversee and participate in the assembly of prototypes, ensuring proper placement and soldering of components.

    • Work closely with technicians to manage the rework, soldering, and debugging of assembled boards.

    • Perform Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews to optimize the board layout for manufacturability and ease of assembly.

    Testing and Troubleshooting:

    • Develop and execute test plans for verifying electrical performance and compliance with design specifications.

    • Conduct signal integrity analysis, power integrity, and thermal analysis to ensure reliable performance.

    • Debug and troubleshoot any issues with PCB designs, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.

    Documentation and Compliance:

    • Generate detailed design documentation, including schematics, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and test reports.

    • Ensure that all designs meet applicable industry standards (e.g., IPC, UL, CE) and regulatory requirements for product safety and reliability.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance PCB design processes.

    • Keep up to date with new technologies, materials, and industry trends to improve PCB performance and reliability.

    Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

    Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience in PCB design and assembly.

    • Proficiency with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad, or Eagle.

    • Hands-on experience with soldering, reworking, and assembling PCBs, including surface-mount and through-hole components.

    Skills:

    • Strong understanding of electronic components, signal integrity, and power distribution in PCB designs.

    • Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.

    • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform root cause analysis.

    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

    Certifications:

    • IPC certification for PCB design/assembly is a plus.

    • Familiarity with UL, CE, and RoHS standards is desirable.

    Benefits:

    • Competitive salary and performance bonuses.

    • Health, dental, and vision insurance.

    • Retirement plan with company matching.

    • Opportunities for career growth and development.
