Job Description
Project Management: Oversee and manage the construction of the RV resort, ensuring adherence to engineering plans and project timelines. Coordinate with construction crews and subcontractors, providing guidance and oversight to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications. Collaborate with the Civil engineering firm to challenge and refine construction designs, ensuring they meet both the County of San Bernardino’s design criteria andproject efficiency goals.
Permitting and Compliance: Lead negotiations with the local electric utility, Imperial Irrigation District, to secure necessary agreements and approvals. Work with the County of San Bernardino to obtain building permits and ensure compliance with all relevant county regulations. Engage with state agencies for the approval and management of community water systems and sewer systems.
Value Engineering: Contribute to the value engineering process by analyzing and suggesting improvements to the project design, aiming to optimize cost, quality, and functionality. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that designs are practical, efficient, and meet regulatory requirements.
Communication and Reporting: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including senior management, contractors, and government agencies. Provide detailed project reports, including progress updates, budget tracking, and risk management assessments.
Qualifications
Experience required? Yes
If yes, what experience is required?
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering and project management, preferably in the real estate industry. Licenses: Must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license, or equivalent certification recognized in the U.S.
Is the worker required to supervise other workers? Yes, 5 – 10 workers, at least 3-5 direct reports.
Criminal Background Check? Yes, selected candidates must provide, and pass, a Mexican carta de no antecedentes penales federal.
Drug Test? Not required prior to hire - Only reasonable suspicion and or post-accident drug testing
Cannabis policy: The use, possession, and cultivation of marijuana are strictly prohibited on this property because it is managed by the Bureau of Land
Management (BLM). While state laws may permit the use of marijuana, federal law, which governs BLM land, does not. As a result, marijuana is not allowed in any form in the workplace or living areas
English Level Requirement: Medium to advanced preferred “C1”

Drivers license required: Yes, valid drivers license.
