As an Electrical Engineer at Revolt Motors, you will play a pivotal role in the creation and development of advanced circuits, systems, and components, with a strong emphasis on manufacturability. You'll collaborate closely with our team of engineers and leaders to understand the evolving needs of our company, driving forward the design and innovation of next-generation powertrains. Automotive, Class 8 or similar experience is required. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in design and engineering software, ready to lead and deliver electrical systems that set new benchmarks in efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.     Responsibilities

    Technology and Team Leadership:

    Build, lead and motivate Electrical Engineers and Technicians

    Execution planning, task allocation and ensure on-time delivery and feature traceability.

    Cross function collaboration to bridge technical gaps to ensure efficient integration and deployment.

    Strategy and Executive Leadership:

    Perform feasibility studies and provide project execution projection, resource needs, identify key risks and alternate strategies

    Identify and prioritize high-impact and high-visibility product features for key customers and customer applications.

    EE Hardware development:

    Create harnessing schematics and drawings for both high and low voltage harnessing

    Perform 3D harness fitment and length analysis

    Responsible for Electrical Integration of all new components/features on the vehicle

    Provide technical expertise for electro-mechanical interfacing, including cable routing and support bracketry

    General Expectations:

    Work closely with other engineering teams and staff members to best implement new products or projects

    Analyze the best design and implementation of new circuits and systems

    Work with other engineers to test and improve current systems and components

    Provide technical support to the facility and staff

    Provide input to staff and management for timing, scheduling of products, and projected expenses, as needed

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering required

    Automotive/Industrial harnessing experience highly preferred

    Experience using engineering and design software such as Autodesk Fusion, KiCAD, EPLAN

    Experience designing with manufacturing in mind

    Experience with design documentation

    The ability to multitask and prioritize based on changing needs

    Strong organizational skills

    Min Requirements:

    Proven track record of delivering products in industries such as automotive, agriculture, mining or transportation segments

    Working knowledge of safety standards such as ISO-26262 or IEC 61508 or DO178 or similar standards

    Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional team to perform feasibility studies and develop effective hardware architecture and BOM optimization

    Experience in developing electrical schematics for low voltage and high voltage power distribution and system interfacing.

    Capable of defining electrical interfacing requirements, component selection and integration for power train components.

    Experience in developing harness diagrams, routing and work instructions.

    Experience with developing design validation plans, FMEA’s and other process documentation

    Previous experience in deploying, debugging and testing harness and electrical sub-systems
