Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer for a local client in Clinton, NC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the design and development of electronic circuits, systems, and components
• Conduct research to identify new technologies and trends in the field
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues with electronic systems
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and test reports
• Test and evaluate prototypes to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
• Collaborate with product managers to integrate electronic systems into larger products
• Provide technical support to manufacturing teams during production

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
• Experience with CAD software, such as AutoCAD, for circuit design
• Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques for troubleshooting electronic systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
