    Electrical Engineering Intern

    Design West Engineering is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team for the 2025 Summer Internship Program. As an intern at Design West Engineering, you will be provided with the opportunity to work under the guidance of top engineers in the Architecture, Engineering and Constructions (AEC) industry, while working on challenging projects and building your engineering skillsets.

    Required Qualifications

    • Must be actively pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree, with at least 2 years of coursework completed from an accredited institution
    • Must possess a strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals
    • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
    • Experience with creating 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD/Revit is a plus
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Must possess strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities

    Job Duties Include

    • Assist electrical engineers and project managers in design and drafting tasks as assigned
    • Coordinate with other team members and engineers on project development
    • Assist in developing energy calculations for required projects
    • Use AutoCAD and Revit to create construction documents
    • Learn the execution of specific engineering design analyses and studies through observation and practice
    • Attend site visits to observe electrical installations, both new and existing
    • This internship is scheduled for June 9, 2025 through August 15, 2025.
