  • Responsibilities

    Under close supervision, performs routine tasks requiring knowledge of fundamental engineering, mathematical and construction concepts. Provides support to engineers, supervisor, or project team in the preparation of electrical design, utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and other design software. This is a part-time, non-exempt position paid on an hourly basis.

    Your Contribution

    • Assists with construction phase services as directed by project engineer.
    • Assists with checking engineering calculations.
    • Assist with electrical building design including, but not limited to, lighting, power distribution, communication systems, and fire alarm systems.
    • Assists with fundamental project tasks such as basic design calculations.
    • Assists in collecting field data.
    • Performs routine filing and delivery of documents.
    • Proficient in the use of computers, computer aided design and other relevant software and hardware tools.
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    Your Qualifications

    • Student status in Electrical Engineering or an appropriate related discipline at an accredited college or university.
