    Job Summary

    Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    Seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to manage equipment data, estimate cable lengths, and document fieldwork. Must have strong communication skills, be proficient in MS Office, and be able to travel up to 80%. A relevant degree or significant experience and technical certifications are preferred.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Electrical equipment data gathering for engineering projects

    o Includes opening equipment and evaluating internal electrical components

    o Estimating cable/conductor lengths

    o Downloading relay settings

    o Taking and documenting numerous field notes

    • Daily monitoring and distribution of EED leads
    • New project walk-thru’s
    • Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Communication skills:

    o Basic oral and written skills

    o Technical communication background

    • Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite
    • Knowledge of SKM or similar electrical engineering software (preferred)
    • Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code and NFPA 70E
    • Ability to work independently as well as within small teams
    • Strong organizational skills

    · ****EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    o 2-year electrical engineering technician (or related) degree OR Master Electrician License OR 5 years job related experience

    · ****CERTIFICATIONS

    o Licensed electrician (Preferred)

    o Infrared thermography (Preferred)

    o Other related job related certifications (Preferred)

    • Depending on projects, travel could be up to 80%
