We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing competitive estimates for commercial electrical projects, ensuring accuracy in pricing, labor, and material costs.

Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed estimates for commercial electrical construction projects

Analyze blueprints, specifications, and bid documents

Perform material take-offs, labor calculations, and cost analysis

Work with vendors to obtain competitive pricing for materials

Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure accurate project scopes

Ensure estimates comply with NEC codes, local regulations, and industry standards

Qualifications:

Proven experience in electrical estimating for commercial projects

Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and bid processes

Proficiency in estimating software such as Accubid, Bluebeam, or equivalent

Ability to assess labor units, change orders, and contract terms

Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

Detail-oriented with the ability to develop cost-effective solutions
