Role Overview:
Leads and oversees electrical projects from start to finish. Manages crews, ensures work meets quality and safety standards, coordinates with project managers, and maintains schedules and budgets. This role requires strong leadership and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate electrical crews on job sites to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Plan and delegate tasks to ensure work is completed on time.
- Inspect installations for compliance with NEC codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime.
- Electrical layout to include, but not limited to, determining the placement of boxes, equipment, electrical panels, electrical rooms within buildings, and site locations for light pole installations.
- Maintain project schedules and meet deadlines while managing labor and materials effectively.
- Conduct safety meetings and enforce job site safety policies.
- Communicate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to coordinate workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
- Order and received materials per company guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; electrical trade school preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of electrical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Prior experience with multi-family or student housing preferred.
- Journeyman license preferred.
- Low voltage knowledge F/A, access control preferred.
- OSHA 30 preferred.
Capabilities
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.

- Familiarity with electrical testing tools and safety procedures.
- Proficient in using various technologies, including iPads and PCs to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Ability to actively listen, comprehend team feedback and instructions, and respond thoughtfully to ensure clear communication and effective collaboration.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, often exposed to the natural elements of cold, heat, moisture, and wind with moderate noise.
- Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
- Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduct.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to work at height greater than 6 feet with proper PPE.
