UGT is hiring an Electrical Installation Project Coordinator to expand the existing capabilities of our professional services group. The role(s) are nationwide and require professionals that are detail oriented with excellent communications capabilities. The UGT Project Coordinator has Responsibilities:

- Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.

- Site Logistics Coordinator/Project Coordinator will be providing direction and coordination for power/electrical equipment for the building out of new warehouses, data centers, or other new facilities.
- Responsible for receiving new equipment at the site, making sure it arrives as expected, ensuring proper storage, processing any returns or warranty issues for faulty equipment or equipment damaged in transit.
- Manage the program based upon defined Project scope, timeline, and "approved for Manufacture" drawings, attend daily client meetings to review open issues and upcoming items, make recommendations concerning equipment deliveries, installation, and on-site services. They would then provide intelligence/escalations back to the project team.
- Liaison with the client and Client Project Manager and manage the project team relationships.
- This is NOT a hands-on technical/IT role. Coordinators are not allowed to hook up or work on the equipment. They are not building data centers, working on routers, switches, or servers.
- Looking for construction-type backgrounds and have knowledge of construction and safety processes.
- Communications transparency is a top priority in verbal, written, and presentation format for the project coordinator.
Additional Duties:
- Obtain & communicate requirements for site access, site safety training
- Obtain & communicate site safety escalation & notification points of contact
- Attend site update/progress project meetings and provide status update, document meeting notes/minutes and distribute to Client PM.
- Manage issue/action logs and provide to Client PM/PE; escalate to Client as appropriate.
- Manage project team relationships to ensure project tracking and escalations as needed.
- Manage program based upon defined project scope, timeline and "Approved For Manufacture" drawings; update project timeline as needed.
- Become Client’s “Eyes and Ears” on site to help the PMO maintain a visible daily presence at location for the company and for the client.
- Perform initial inspection and inventory of all gear shipped to the site and document the condition along with photos to the correct data storage location, as well as to the Project Manager.
- Be a liaison between personnel, the integrator and the Project Manager on all issues that come up during the day. This includes attending daily meetings and informing the Project Manager of any issues that arise.
- Take ownership of customer issues reported on site and seeing problems through to resolution by reporting them to the Project Manager, Technical Program Manager, Factory Quality Engineer and/or Client Electrical Sales and Service Engineer.
- Enter warranty claims with appropriate plant. Track and receive parts needed to resolve issues.
- Communicate and prioritize open issues (and parts) with EESS when they are scheduled to be on site. Update issue status as items are completed.
- Maintain a spreadsheet of all open issues with comments to provide updates to relevant parties.
- Attend any other company meetings as designated by the Project Manager. This may include scheduling meetings, Quality Control Review Meetings, etc.
- Properly escalate unresolved issues to the Project Manager and/or the Plant Quality Manager.
- Generally, understand the progress of the project in relation to the construction and Cx schedule so Client can evaluate if we are maintaining our schedule in relation to the client’s schedule.
- Maintain a good working relationship with the client and site personnel.
- Follow all Safety Protocols required by Client and the site.
