Responsibilities: What You’ll Do: As an Electrical Service Technician, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact. Your responsibilities will include: • Diagnosing and repairing electrical systems while adhering to safety standards. • Configuring, installing, and maintaining complex electrical systems. • Reading and interpreting diagrams, blueprints, and schematics. • Documenting electrical jobs with sketches and diagrams. • Installing control and distribution devices like relays, switches, and RPPs. • Establishing power to electrical units such as PDUs, motors, and appliances. • Testing equipment for functionality and safety. • Ensuring the safety of personnel and customers on the job site. • Demonstrating flexibility and professionalism while interacting with customers and vendors. • Quickly resolving issues with a can-do attitude. • Climbing ladders and navigating stairs with confidence. • Working independently or as part of a team. Please note: This position may require out-of-town work, overtime, and after-hours duties as needed, with an on-call schedule. Qualifications: What You’ll Bring: We’re looking for someone with: • A valid Driver's License and a good driving record. • A clear background check. • A high school diploma or GED equivalent. • An active Texas Journeyman’s or Master's license. • At least 8 years of commercial or light-industrial service experience as a Journeyman. • Proficiency in reading blueprints, specifications, codes, and regulations. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. • The ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably in crawl spaces and attics. Compensation: $34 - $46 hourly
