Electrical and Control System Design and Production
Responsible for the design of electrical and control systems following standard industry practice and recognized guidelines (NEC, UL, etc).
Evaluates, specifies and sources electrical and controls components by contacting appropriate vendors.
Prepares and maintains bills of materials (BOMs).
Prepares and modifies electrical and instrumentation diagrams.
Calibrates and troubleshoots instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
Coordinates with administrative staff to ensure all components are procured properly.
Interfaces with third-party inspection services (such as UL) to ensure requirements are met.
Prepares control philosophy and O&M documentation for RODI’s water treatment systems.
Supervises design technicians and PLC programmers to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
Supervises assembly technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of panel assembly.
Technical Support and Management
Responsible for evaluating and selecting electrical and controls hardware used in water treatment systems. Prepares electrical diagrams and controls wiring diagrams. Responsible for providing technical support to distributors, OEMs, end users, and other customers on a day-to-day basis. Supervises and manages activities performed by subordinate PLC programmers, controls and instrumentation technicians, electricians, and panel builders.
