    Emerge is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a direct hire 2nd shift  Maintenance Technician job in Twinsburg Ohio for our client, a global manufacturer of quality parts used in the automotive industry. The maintenance technician will perform maintenance and millwright duties on the production floor including minor electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics and minor work with electrical controls. We are seeking candidates with one or more years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment or trade school education for entry level, five or more years for higher level. This is a 2nd shift position with training on the first shift,. Our client offers an hourly rate of  $20-$24 for entry level and up to $31 per hour for more advanced skills and experience and a comprehensive benefits package.Overtime is required on a weekend day at this time. 

     

    Responsibilities for the 2nd shift Maintenance Technician Job in Twinsburg, OH include:

    • Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and written instructions to complete assigned tasks.
    • Proficient use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance shop equipment (e.g., lathe, grinder, drill press, pipe threader).
    • Basic welding and fabrication skills.
    • Perform Millwright discipline tasks, including maintaining, repairing, and reassembling production machinery.
    • Perform Pipefitter discipline tasks, including installing, modifying, and repairing piping conduit.
    • Maintain plant mechanical equipment and systems to ensure efficiency and minimal downtime.
    • Install, troubleshoot, and repair production presses and associated equipment.
    • Install, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems and components.
    • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and devices (includes motors, lighting systems, plant electrical – 240V & 480V systems, basic understaning of PLC troubleshooting).
    • Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping.
    • Follow all safety and PPE requirements and regulations.

     

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED and three years (3) or more related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Graduate of a two-year technical/trade school or specialized in a technical skill is preferred.
    • PLC/Ladder Logic basic troubleshooting.
    • Must supply personal hand tools. Specialty tools will be provided by the client.
