Electromechanical Technician Needed In Bethlehem, PA - 1st Shift
Shift: 6am-2:30pm
Pay Rate: Competitive - based off experience and interview
Summary:
The Electromechanical Technician is responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to ensure optimal performance. Respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and perform preventive maintenance in food processing(not meat).

Skills/Abilities:
- Skilled in designing workflows and procedures with strong attention to detail.
- Recognizes and resolves issues promptly and efficiently.
- Experienced in data entry and proficient with CMMS and Deacom software systems.
- Certified in forklift operation and other warehouse lift equipment.
- Capable of troubleshooting and repairing automated systems, including pneumatics, electrical, hydraulics, motors, conveyors, and PLC-controlled machinery.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical and PLC schematics.
- Experienced in stainless steel TIG welding and fabrication.
- Strong skills in data entry, mathematics, and computer applications.
- Effective at collaborating in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED certificate
- Associate degree or Trade Certification a plus
- 2-5 Years in a food production/facility maintenance role
- Preference for powder packaging experience
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling around machinery.
- Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds at time
Work Environment:
This position almost constantly works on the manufacturing floor. Possibly exposure to allergens such as milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, and soybeans
