    Title: Test Technician

    Job Summary:


    DirectPath Recruiting Services is seeking a skilled Test Technician for our client, a leading company in the electronics industry. This role involves testing and debugging electronic assemblies using various types of programming equipment. The ideal candidate will interpret schematics, troubleshoot products, and maintain precise documentation of all operations performed.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Adhere to the client’s Quality Management System and all related policies.

    • Perform test operations in compliance with training guidelines and customer requirements.

    • Accurately interpret customer-supplied documentation and schematics; seek clarification when needed.

    • Inspect electronic components and assemblies under a microscope to ensure compliance with specifications.

    • Perform cleaning procedures on parts and assemblies at various stages of production.

    • Document and maintain records of failures, defects, and corrective actions.

    • Maintain technical certifications as required.

    • Follow safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized work environment.

    • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Proficiency in electronic component identification and polarity recognition.

    • Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.

    • Strong mechanical assembly skills and manual dexterity.

    • Capable of performing repetitive tasks with precision.

    • Effective oral and written communication skills.

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    • Maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

    • Certified or ability to obtain J-STD-001 (with Space Addendum) certification.

    • Proficient in the safe operation of test equipment.

    • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds for short distances.

    Education & Certifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Trained to AS9100 program requirements.

    Special Requirements:

    • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in electronics assembly, testing, and debugging.

    • U.S. Citizenship is required due to contractual obligations.

    • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

    • Availability to work a 4/10 schedule (Monday – Thursday).
