We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electronics Engineering Technician to join our dynamic Repair Depot team. The ideal candidate will support the development, testing, and maintenance of electronic systems and components for medical imaging products. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability and performance of our innovative imaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, assembly, and testing of electronic circuits and systems for medical imaging equipment.
Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on electronic components and systems.
Collaborate with engineers to develop and implement test procedures for new products and components.
Document test results, maintenance activities, and repair logs accurately and comprehensively.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements in medical imaging technology.
Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an electronics technician role, preferably in the medical device or imaging industry.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electronic schematics and technical manuals.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
Knowledge of soldering techniques and surface mount technology (SMT).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or a related field.
Experience with medical imaging equipment.
Familiarity with regulatory standards and quality assurance processes in the medical device industry. (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA regulations).
