    • Our client, who has been servicing all branches of the U.S. Military for over 40 years, is seeking an Electronics Test Technician to join their team. Renowned for their adherence to reliability and environmental standards across industries, particularly in aerospace, this employee-owned company stands out for its commitment to excellence.
    • The Electronics Test Technician will perform various electronic and electromechanical tests on systems, subassemblies, and parts to ensure they meet specifications, using their knowledge of electronic principles to diagnose malfunctions and restore equipment to proper operation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review and interpret test schedules, procedures, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine appropriate testing processes and equipment required for each task.
    • Perform functional and performance tests on electronic systems, subassemblies, and parts under specified environmental conditions such as temperature variations, vibration, pressure, and humidity, ensuring compliance with required standards.
    • Analyze test data and compare results with specifications to pinpoint the root cause of any performance failures or malfunctions.
    • Replace defective wiring, components, or assemblies, or document and report the defects, returning the faulty product to the production team for necessary repairs.
    • Communicate regularly with supervisors to discuss testing methods, results, and any challenges that arise during testing, working together to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
    • Accurately read and interpret technical documents, written instructions, and other relevant information to ensure testing is performed according to guidelines.
    • Carry out additional duties as assigned to support overall department objectives and workflow.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate degree in electronics or equivalent relevant experience
    • Proficient in basic math and electronic theory.
    • Skilled in reading blueprints and BOMs.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Reader.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

    Compensation:

    • Base salary to 27.00/hour
