Reports to: Principal
Receptionist Job Responsibilities:
- Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
- Maintains security and telecommunications system.
- Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries.
- Schedule school tours
- Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
- Responsible for answering incoming calls and emails, then directing appropriately.
- Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Pleasant telephone manner and calm under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task comfortably
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- A proactive self-starter and someone who quickly learns new duties
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, volunteers, students, and parents
- Skilled in Microsoft Office
- Interpersonal skills and great customer service

- Ability to operate standard office equipment and office tools for clerical duties
- Ability to lift 20 pounds
Job Duties (but is not limited to):
- Open office by 7:30 each morning
- Answer phones and emails in a timely manner
- Answer parent and student questions
- manage and track student attendance in Infinite Campus
- monitor, communicate, and report student truancy to the Dean
- prepare attendance tracking and awards for presentation
- Locate students and pass along information
- Collect money, write receipts
- Provide parents with Infinite Campus support
- After successfully completing our health training, you will -
- Administer medication
- Help students when sick
- Support the JICS school nurse with obtaining student immunization and health records
- Support administration as needed with various tasks
- Call out and sign out students leaving for school-related activities
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Minimum work experience and education:
