The Customer Service Representative is responsible for initiating and cultivating an excellent customer experience. This position is responsible for connecting with our patients through compassionate and frequent communication. The Customer Service Representative communicates insurance benefits to the patient and schedules initial and follow up appointments to provide the patient the best opportunity to achieve their goals. They are expected to go out of their way to make sure the patient has the best experience in rehabilitation.

    | Job Description: | Role and Responsibilities: | · Reports to Office Manager · Field New Patient Phone calls and obtain all necessary information to expedite their care. · Offer the New Patient a visit time within 24 hours · Provide customer services with the emphasis on having the patient achieve their orthopedic goals · Communicate internally with the Yorktown Team to provide the best experience for the patient. · Timely, obtain, communicate and assist patients in filling out all insurance requirements and necessary paperwork to provide the best care and prevention of a lapse in care. · Scan and Save all documents digitally. · Collect patient balances. · Schedule patients for frequency and duration provided by the orthopedic specialist. · Provide reminder calls for patient visits and/or to schedule further visits when necessary. · Create Daily close out records. · Assist Team in Marketing initiative · Communicate with Doctors and Insurance/Third Party Payors | Preferred Skills | · Proficient with Computer, Scanning and Printer and Point of Sale Technology · Proficient with Microsoft Word · Detailed Oriented · Excellent Communicator · Customer service experience
