About the Clinic
Ellie Mental Health is opening a locally owned and operated mental health clinic in Athens and we need AMAZING counselors (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LPC-A, LMFT-A, LMSW) to join our team.
As an Outpatient Therapist at Ellie Mental Health, you will share our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care and thrive in an environment driven by our core values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination.

A New Herd Mentality
At Ellie Mental Health in Athens, the ideal candidate will be the person that strives to better their client's with creative, adaptive, and fun counseling techniques. Therapists should strive to build from the norms of traditional EBT counseling, while creating positive interactions with their established caseload.
Therapist will use active listening, empathy, and completely individualized care plans to meet the client's individual needs. Therapist will truly be present for each and every client they serve.
By living to these creative, fun, humorous, and individualized care plans we will set the standard for mental health care in the Athens-Clarke County area.
In addition, therapists will work in a more relaxed work environment, with better caseloads that beat the local industry standard. The Clinic Director is charged with ensuring the therapists are taken care of and preventing burnout. We want to care for our therapists, so they are ready to care for our clients.
Responsibilities include:
Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
Clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week
Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings

Required Qualifications and Skills:
Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and on track to obtain licensure in their designated field
Candidates should have clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.), but those under supervision would be considered for a position, and should apply if interested.
Required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical case notes
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems
