    Job Description

    THE OPPORTUNITY Taking a consultative sales approach, you’ll introduce the Polly platform to scientists working in the life sciences sector, encompassing organizations within the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, and non-profit research space. You’ll be focused on qualifying leads, engaging with prospects, building a pipeline of opportunities, and closing new business. You will also cultivate relationships with existing accounts to drive retention and identify expansion opportunities that address our clients evolving needs.     WHAT YOU’LL DO: · Achieve quarterly, and annual sales quotas and SaaS revenue objectives. · Close new logo and expansion business and nurture relationships with existing clients to drive retention. · Create and deliver compelling software demonstrations, presenting tailored business solutions through value-selling techniques. · Effectively communicate the differentiated value of the Polly platform to help potential clients and customers make informed decisions. · Develop client proposals and contracts. · Collaborate with sales management to develop a targeted sales plan. · Work with marketing, product, and the science team to build case studies that showcase Elucidata’s ability to deliver business value to the customer. · Operate with a strong growth mindset and consistently demonstrate a strong work ethic to prospects, clients, partners, and colleagues.

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING: · 2+ years of experience in selling SaaS-delivered scientific data platform with a track record achieving performance objectives (revenue targets, pipeline targets, etc.). · Experience executing on commercial partnerships and licensing agreements with biotech, pharmaceutical and/or drug discovery organizations. · Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and customer relationships. · Excellent presentation and communication skills and a strong ability to demo purpose-built software that highlights our products’ key features and capabilities. · Proficient in communicating and positioning scientific software technology. · Highly motivated to thrive and work independently for a fast-growing company where all team members work remotely. · Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Math, Computer Science, or Applied Sciences preferred.
