Job Summary:

We are seeking an NDT Responsible Level III - RT & PT in North Texas. The NDT Level III will be responsible for ensuring that all NDT internal and external quality requirements are adhered to and incorporated. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RT and PT inspection utilizing film and non-film processes for aluminum castings.

Duties:

• Review NDT requirements
• Radiograph or perform various liquid penetrant test functions on castings to detect flaws, cracks or presence of foreign materials.
• Set sequence of NDT operations
• Approve the training, qualification and certification of NDT personnel written practice
• Administer annual performance reviews
• Approve annual NDT audit
• Administer and grade qualification exam
• Approve or designate instructors
• Accept documentation regarding equivalent experience
• Review and approve calibration certificates
• Approve procedures and techniques
• Align object on stand between source of x-rays and film
• Select type of film, and determine exposure distance and time
• Verify radiation intensities
• Monitor working area to protect personnel area
• Investigate suspected discontinuities in castings using correct procedures and make accept/reject

****Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Certifiable to RT and PT Level III
• Documentation of Previous Certifications
