    Food Server & Host- Evening Shift 5:00pm-10pm The Embassy Suites Overland Park, is hiring for its French/New Orleans-style restaurant, The Sweetgrass Cafe, with a very bright future! Freshly opened, we are looking for a personable and detail-oriented host, and server to greet our guests and service them as they enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience. We are a newly renovated hotel looking for great personalities to be the face of the first-ever built Embassy Suites. Responsibilities: • GREET GUESTS: A host is largely responsible for greeting guests and ensuring a quality experience - this will be assigned to you from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm during our complimentary social hour to ensure those that are entering are guests of the hotel • SERVER: You are the point person during the customer's meal. No formal education is required, though you need effective communication skills and a high-stress tolerance for both positions. • ENTREE PROMOTER: Along with being quick on your feet and able to be personable with our guests, we encourage our servers to know our decadent and unique menu. Qualifications: • Server/Restaurant experience • Customer Service Oriented • Passion for food and the best guest experience Compensation: $15 hourly
