As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will support the development, maintenance, and testing of real-time embedded software in support of the ASR-9 Radar System.
Responsibilities:
Must be proficient with C or other high-level software language
Design, develop, optimize, code, test, review, and debug embedded systems with real-time multitasking operating systems
Use a Logical Analyzer to troubleshoot embedded computer systems
Validate and integrate new designs for complex systems
Track preparation and delivery status of required deliverables
Occasional travel for installations and/or technical support if needed
Qualifications:
B.S. in Computer Science, Math, or technical field with a minimum of seven (7) years of related work experience in a computer science or math field OR
Master’s Degree in any field of study with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours of either undergrad or grad study in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and five (5) years of related work in a computer science or math field
Technical proficiencies:
Knowledge in programming, developing, testing an embedded real-time computer
Ability to learn a new language or already have experience with PLM-86
