Responsibilities

1. Design, code, and test real-time embedded software to support communication products.
2. Develop test suites for unit and system testing.
3. Develop/update engineering process documents as required.

Qualifications

1. US citizen
2. Active US secret clearance or deactivated within last 2 years
3. Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
4. Proficient with embedded C/C++, object-oriented design, real-time, multi-threaded programming, and a minimum of 4 years of related experience
5. Experience with real-time operating systems (e.g. VxWorks RTOS, Linux, QNX)
6. Ability to quickly analyze and understand large and complex existing software systems
7. Ability to develop software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation
8. Ability to identify, track, and repair software defects
9. Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
10. Ability to convey information and ideas clearly and succinctly

Preferred Additional Skills

1. Experience with Git/Bitbucket
2. Experience with continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins)
3. Experience with the Agile methodology
4. Experience with wireless networking software system design and development
5. Familiarity with RF concepts and technology
