Responsibilities: • Ensure safety standards and universal precautions are met, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment • Provide basic life support interventions to ill or injured pediatric patients during transport • Monitor and document patient vital signs, medication administration, and other pertinent medical information • Work collaboratively with the transport team and hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care during transport • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations • Perform daily equipment checks to ensure all medical equipment is in proper working order Qualifications: • At least 2 years of experience as an EMT • Excellent analysis, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills are necessary • Valid Pennsylvania State and National EMT certification • Current and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment • Must have a strong commitment to patient care and safety Compensation: $25 - $29.74 hourly
