Emergency Medicine Physician 

Location: Riverdale, GA
Compensation: Up to $275/hr
Job Type: Full-Time Independent Contractor

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Emergency Medicine Physician to join a high-volume, well-supported emergency department in Riverdale, Georgia! This is a 1099 independent contractor role offering competitive hourly compensation, consistent scheduling, and a collaborative clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to a diverse patient population
• Collaborate with APPs and hospital staff to ensure coordinated, efficient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
• Adhere to clinical protocols, safety standards, and quality initiatives
• Work a minimum of 12 shifts per month, including 2 weekends

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
• OR Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with minimum 3 years of recent emergency department experience
• (Note: Urgent Care experience does not qualify as ER experience)
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS (unless ABEM certified)
• Experience using EPIC EMR preferred
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality care

Emergency Department Details:

• Annual Volume: Approx. 26,000 patient visits
• APP Coverage: 13–22 hours per day
• Physician Shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (must be a mix of days AND nights OR nights)
• EMR: EPIC
