As an Emergency Services Dispatcher, you are the first point of contact with the public via both emergency 911 phone lines and non-emergency phone lines. You must obtain information from callers who may be injured, confused, angered, hysterical, frightened, or abused . You’ll then communicate effectively to dispatch city police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical services on emergency and non-emergency calls.
