  • Responsibilities

    Position Summary: Interfaces with internal team members and other departments to provide support for the Benefits Administrators and Employee Benefits Operations department in a timely and professional manner

    Responsibilities :

    • Prepare reports to assist with resolution of complex benefit issues such as eligibility discrepancies, claim payments, Qualified Medical Child Support Orders (QMSCO), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) administration, Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Qualifying Events (QE) and the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
    • Save SBC’s, plan summaries and other materials to appropriate drive folders and upload as needed to HRIS.
    • Monitor email distribution que and distribute accordingly
    • Pull data reports from vendor and carrier web sites
    • Assist with SOP creations and reviews
    • Assist with folder creation and/or reorganization
    • Complete peer reviews for teammates
    • Assists with various projects and assignments to continuously improve departmental efficiencies • Conduct audits
    • Responsible for completing department and personal goals o Ensure goals are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, aƩainable and within required timeframe (SMART model)
    • Troubleshoot all problems that may arise and present solutions
    • Distribution of department mail if local (sunrise office).

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Prior payroll and benefits experience a plus
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel/VLOOKUP
    • Ability to multitask and be highly organized with strong communication skills
