    Employee Benefits Team Manager – Your Job Duties

    As the Employee Benefits Team Manager, you will be the leader of the employee benefits team and department, overseeing all employee benefits insurance offerings and team operations.

    • Manage the team of employee benefit insurance account managers (team of 3 with growth plans) including oversight of work, mentoring, guidance, training and ongoing development
    • Ensure effective client service is provided from the team including leading client satisfaction and client retention initiatives
    • Perform quality control to ensure established processes and workflows are followed by the team and implement corrections as needed
    • Lead the implementation of department initiatives and changes, ensuring teamwide adoption and understanding of change / new processes
    • Identify areas for team improvement by designing and implementing training programs and individual development plans for team and individual success
    • Collaborate with other team leaders to identify, evaluate and implement strategies that improve company operations and support company growth goals

    Employee Benefits Team Manager - Required Skills, Experience & Culture Fit

    You have:

    •  Prior experience in an employee benefits insurance role (group health and welfare, medical insurance)
    • Experience as a team lead, supervisor or manager – you enjoy leading, managing, holding others accountable, providing training and development
    • You have a past track record with effective change management
    • Excellent verbal and written team communication skills. You set clear goals and expectations with your team and with management
    • California Life & Health Licenses
    • Professional designations such as CEBS, BGA, and CLU (desired not required)
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, risk management, management or related (desired not required)

    Employee Benefits Team Manager – Benefits & Pay for You

    Your compensation will be $85,000 - $120,000 base salary plus semi-annual incentive compensation based on performance goals.

    You will be provided with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance with minimal out-of-pocket costs (for you and your dependents!), a 401k plan with company profit share contribution, paid time off, and paid holidays.

    This position is located in Woodland, CA and offers a hybrid work environment and a flexible work schedule.
