Employee Engagement and Development Manager

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Employee Engagement and Development Manager to lead initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, foster a positive workplace culture, and drive professional development. This role is a unique blend of strategic planning, program development, and hands-on execution, directly impacting our organization’s ability to attract, retain, and grow top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Engagement
• Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
• Design and manage employee engagement programs, including recognition, wellness initiatives, and team-building activities.
• Conduct regular employee surveys and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with leadership to create and promote a culture aligned with company values.
• Act as a champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Employee Development
• Assess training and development needs across the organization.
• Create and deliver professional development programs, including workshops, e-learning modules, and leadership training.
• Partner with department leaders to identify skill gaps and design tailored learning solutions.
• Oversee career pathing and succession planning initiatives.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven adjustments.
Collaboration and Communication
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee engagement and development trends and strategies.
• Communicate the value of engagement and development programs to employees at all levels.
• Maintain open lines of communication to gather employee feedback and foster trust. Metrics and Reporting
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to engagement and development.
• Prepare and present regular reports to leadership on the impact of initiatives.
• Utilize data to continuously improve programs and demonstrate ROI.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, psychology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in employee engagement, learning and development, or human resources.
• Strong understanding of engagement strategies and adult learning principles.
• Proven ability to design and implement successful engagement and development programs.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS, LMS, and survey tools is a plus.
