  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Ensure smooth production processes to guarantee the manufacture of injection-molded parts that meet specifications while adhering to internal standards and process requirements.

    • Machine and Tool Setup: Prepare machines, tools, handling systems, and peripherals, including line clearance, while ensuring adherence to process specifications.
    • Tool Installation and Startup: Install, connect, and initiate injection molding tools under supervision.
    • Production Documentation: Create and maintain all associated production documentation.
    • Production Supervision: Oversee series production processes, including cleaning, sampling, visual inspections, and tub replacement, while ensuring all required documentation (e.g., MES, checklists, records) is completed accurately.
    • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and implement improvements within the area of responsibility.
    • Collaboration: Foster cooperative relationships with internal interfaces, such as process technology, quality control (QC), customer service (CS), and technical services (TS).
    • Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to relevant operational requirements, standards, and legal regulations.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Completed 3-year technical apprenticeship (e.g., as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology or similar).
    • Initial experience in setting up injection molding machines, both with and without automation systems.
    • Basic knowledge of injection molding processes.
    • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting injection molding processes (with and without automation systems).
    • Proficient in using IT applications, such as MES, SAP, and MS Office.
    • Strong technical understanding.
    • High level of performance and organizational motivation.
    • Action-oriented, conscientious, and flexible.
    • Strong interpersonal sensitivity and contact ability.
    • Team-oriented with excellent sociability.
    • Emotionally stable, resilient, and self-confident.
    • Familiarity with quality methods (e.g., Continuous Improvement Processes - CIP).
    • Basic knowledge of GMS (Global Manufacturing System).
    • In-depth understanding of production processes in injection molding.
    • Ability to transfer knowledge and expertise to new situations effectively.
