    Compensation: $95,000 - $115,000

    The base salary or hourly wage range for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.     About the Role:

    The Team Member Engagement Partner is responsible for supporting the development and execution of employee relations processes and initiatives aimed at fostering an engaging work environment while mitigating risk. This role ensures the organization's employee relations practices align with its overall goals of employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness. The Team Member Engagement Partner will support field operations, commissary kitchens, and the restaurant support center by managing the intake of investigations, coaching and developing leaders on resolving conflicts, as well as building an engaged culture, and analyzing data and trends to help enhance the employee experience while ensuring fair treatment across all employee groups.

    Responsibilities:

    Lead the investigations for team member complaints, grievances, or workplace misconduct, ensuring fair and timely resolution.

    Assist with advising on team member disciplinary actions, including documentation and follow-up, in collaboration with restaurant leadership.

    Assist in the administration of team member engagement relations processes and policies designed to ensure a productive, equitable, and compliant work environment. Analyze team member relations data and trends to identify patterns and recommend and implement proactive solutions to mitigate risk or improve engagement.

    Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on effective conflict resolution, team member coaching, and handling sensitive team member relations matters.

    Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to team member relations and workplace conduct with experience in high compliance geography including but not limited to Seattle, California, NYC, and Canada.

    Partner with People and Culture, legal, and other relevant teams to address complex team member relations issues or investigations.

    Participate in conducting employee surveys, focus groups, or exit interviews to gather feedback and insights on team member satisfaction and potential areas for improvement.

    Support efforts to ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, and practices across the organization.

    Conduct and report on Exit Interviews

    Promote and support programs that foster our values, engagement, and organizational culture.

    Essential Functions:

    Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage conflict and facilitate conversations.

    Problem-Solving: Ability to assess and resolve complex team member relations issues in a fair and timely manner.

    Judgment: Demonstrates sound judgment when dealing with team member issues, maintaining confidentiality and fairness in all matters.

    Empathy and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to handle sensitive team member issues with empathy and professionalism.

    Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, particularly in documenting cases, investigations, and resolutions.

    Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with other HR teams, legal, and leadership to ensure the best outcomes for the organization and its employees.

    Job Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

    4-7 years of experience in employee relations, human resources, or a related field with a focus on conflict resolution, employee engagement, and policy administration.

    Proven ability to analyze and interpret HR policies, employee concerns, and employment law.

    Strong understanding of labor laws and employment regulations.

    Experience in managing sensitive or high-risk employee relations situations.

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and work effectively with employees and managers at all levels.

    Experience with HRIS systems and data analysis tools.

    Ability to travel within up to 50% of the time by car and/or airplane to support the Greater Los Angeles area

    Preferred Requirements:

    Experience with employment law in CA, NY, WA, and Canada

    Fluent in multiple languages, primarily English, Spanish, and Mandarin
