Qualifications
What you'll get to do:
- Lead all high-risk employee relations investigations for the retail population in a timely manner, engaging with People and Culture Business Partners and appropriate partners as needed, and identifying trends and themes related to organizational health of teams.
- Diagnose opportunities, identify appropriate solutions, and areas to build leadership capabilities regarding issues and concerns raised in the stores, delivering practical, efficient solutions that uphold Vuori’s commitment to its policies and values.
- Be a thought partner to Retail Stores leadership and team members and demonstrate success in assessing organizational health of our stores fleet, with a focus on strengthening employee relations, coaching, performance management, and promoting engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development.
- Provide subject matter expertise to employees and leaders in the areas of employee relations, our employee handbook, Code of Conduct, and engagement strategy.
- Work closely with People and Culture Business Partners – Retail Stores and the Generalists to align with and support efforts to develop a high-performing, highly engaged, diverse workforce through training, coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
- Maintain awareness of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, partnering with Vuori’s Legal Department as needed and advising the business on appropriate actions to ensure compliance with applicable laws and fair, consistent application of Vuori policies.
- Role model Vuori’s culture, values, and behaviors amongst the teams you support.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of People & Culture initiatives.
- Identify ways to utilize available data that will be most impactful to our store’s teams and influence business leaders.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or employment law, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Employee Relations Partner experience in dynamic, fast-paced organizations.
- PHR certification or equivalent preferred.
- Extensive experience leading employee relations and performance management initiatives and strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws (i.e.: EEO, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, HIPPA, OSHA, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and exercise excellent judgment.
- Be comfortable with ambiguity in an evolving, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Well organized, plans effectively and prioritizes time according to what is most impactful.
- Dependable and can be counted upon to meet deadlines and commitments.
- Strong consulting and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
- Strong interviewing/fact finding and decision-making skills.
- Strong conflict management skills with demonstrated understanding of interpersonal relationship building.
- Proven success at developing strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.
- Demonstrated competence in other human resource disciplines with including compensation, change management, talent management, organizational diagnosis and planning, and diversity, equity and inclusion.

The salary range for this role is $105,000 per year - $125,000 per year.
