    TITLE: Employee Relations Specialist - ORACLE

    TYPE: CONTRACT (6 MONTHS)

    WORK SCHEDULE: This is a 44/36 with every other Friday off. Our office hours begins at 7:00am – 4:30pm.

    HOURLY PAY RATE: $56.00 - $63.00 per hour

    LOCATION: Downtown Los Angeles, CA

    We are seeking a highly skilled Employee Relations Specialist with Oracle experience to support a local government department.

    The Employee Relations Specialist plays a critical role in fostering a positive workplace environment by effectively managing employee relations and ensuring compliance with company policies. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance employee engagement, resolve conflicts, and promote a culture of open communication.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis have 4 years of Oracle experience.

    Duties

    · Develop and implement employee relations strategies that align with organizational goals.

    · Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances, ensuring fair and timely resolutions.

    · Collaborate with HR teams to support succession planning and talent management initiatives.

    · Analyze employee data to identify trends and recommend improvements to enhance workplace culture.

    · Facilitate training sessions on conflict resolution, communication skills, and employee engagement practices.

    · Serve as a trusted advisor to management on employee relations issues, providing guidance on best practices.

    · Negotiate solutions to complex employee issues while maintaining compliance with labor laws and company policies.

    · Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to streamline recruiting processes and improve candidate experience.

    Qualifications

    · Proven experience in employee relations or human resources management.

    · Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex information.

    · Proficiency in HR software ORACLE

    · Can conduct research on employee that breaks the law or company policy, potentially including acts like discrimination, harassment, theft, safety violations, unauthorized disclosure of confidential information, or violating terms of employment contracts,

    · Experience with research activities within an organization, who are collectively represented by a labor union for the purpose of negotiating working conditions, wages, and benefits with the employer

    · Research on employee arbitration

    · Familiarity with succession planning and recruiting processes.

    · Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.

    · Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels.

    · Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

    · Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years relevant experience.

    · Required Knowledge of: Labor relations and Human Resources Principles

    · Maintains confidentiality

    · Advance MSOffice and Administrative duties

    · Personable, Flexible and handle pressure zones well.

    · Detail orient, organized, multi task, strong written and verbal communication skills a must.

    · Valid California Class C Driver License that allows you to drive in the course of your employment.
