With a national presence and offices in Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, and North Carolina, Spitz is currently seeking an attorney in North Carolina to lead the expansion of our claims and litigation practice. Key qualifications for this role include strong client engagement skills, excellent communication, empathy, and a strong work ethic. We welcome applications from all licensed attorneys, regardless of GPA or experience. While experience in employment law is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Responsibilities: • Draft pleadings • Handle discovery • Take depositions • Participate in trials • Evaluate discrimination, sexual harassment, FMLA, overtime claims, and wrongful termination cases • Negotiate settlements • Communicate daily with staff and managers to coordinate screenings and consultations Qualifications: • Must have Juris Doctorate • Must be currently licensed to practice law in NC, awaiting NC bar results, and licensed in another state • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills • Must be able to demonstrate empathy • Must possess the ability to multi-task using advanced time management skills and demonstrate the ability to organize and prioritize work Compensation: $60,000 - $85,000 yearly
