Spitz has a national practice with staffed offices in Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, and North Carolina. Spitz is currently seeking an Attorney to take the lead on expanding its claims and litigation practice. The key qualifications for this position will be the ability to engage clients, speak well, demonstrate empathy, and work hard. We will consider all currently licensed attorneys irrespective of GPA or experience. While employment law experience will be seen as a positive, it is not a requirement. Responsibilities: • Represent clients in employment-related legal matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, and wage disputes • Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients • Draft legal documents, such as complaints, motions, and briefs, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations • Prepare clients for legal proceedings, including depositions, hearings, and trials, and represent them in court • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and advocate for their rights and interests during mediation and arbitration proceedings Qualifications: • Law degree • Passed Bar Exam • US Work Authorization • Experience in civil litigation • Experience in employment law is preferable but not required (plaintiff-side) • Strong research and analytical skills Compensation: $55,000 - $85,000 yearly
