    Position Overview:
    The firm is seeking a Senior Employment Counsel to join their team and focus on California employment litigation matters. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely, provided the candidate is licensed to practice law in California. The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling California wage-hour class action claims and PAGA cases, along with a strong track record in employment litigation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage California litigation matters from start to finish, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, taking depositions, arguing motions, and participating in mediations.
    • Work directly with clients to address and resolve day-to-day challenges under state and federal employment laws.
    • Handle complex employment litigation, with a focus on California wage-hour class action claims and PAGA cases.
    • Provide strategic advice and guidance to clients on compliance with California employment laws and regulations.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest quality of service and successful case outcomes.

    Qualifications:

    • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
    • Active license to practice law in California.
    • 7+ years of experience handling California employment litigation matters.
    • Demonstrated expertise with California wage-hour class actions and PAGA cases.
    • Strong litigation skills, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and mediations.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compensation
    $180,000-$210,000 per year
